The Morgan’s understand that birthing can be a very stressful event, both to anticipate and to handle. With plenty of experience birthing human and alpaca babies, you can be certain that the birth of your cria will be handled with confidence and with care. For owners who are boarding at Fortunato Farm, the birthing fee is $350.00 and includes an IGG, new cria vaccinations and a blood stick for ARI registry, as well as all of the necessary care and record keeping appropriate for a new mom and cria. There is a spacious maternity ward where moms and cria can bond, nurse and relax under their own radiant heater or fan, until the newest member is integrated into the herd.
