Accoyo, Alianza, Ali-Accoyo?

Copyright : n/a Beware! of misleading names and advertising. I have seen too much of this on other sites! On our farm if Accoyo only is in the name the alpaca if FULL ACCOYO (100%) not 90, 50 or 20%. If only Alianza is used in the name the the animal is FULL ALIANZA (100%). If Ali-Accoyo is used, the the alpaca is 100% a combination of Alianza and Accoyo. That means that every alpaca on the ARI certificate is 100% Alianza or Accoyo, or a mix of the two. We have one line of alpacas that only has one female on the entire ARI, many, many generations ago that I cannot link from the import records to either Alianza co-op or the Accoyo farm, yet I do not call them Ali-Accoyo! If one alpaca or any part of that alpacas ari certificate is not FULL ACCOYO then that alpacas offspring will NEVER be FULL ACCOYO no matter how many times that animal is bred to a full accoyo.We believe in INTEGRITY, HONOR and CHARACTER! This is OUR focus and business model but ALL alpacas are amazing creatures and will enrich your life. We want clients/customers to have a great experience in this wonderful business and to know what they are buying without jumping through hoops. Don't let a few bad apples spoil the entire bunch!
